I canhardlybelievethatmylittle boy madeittotwo! What an accomplishment for hismom and dad. Wehad a celebration for O on theSundaybeforehisbirthday - weinvitedallthe folks fromtheembassythathadchildrenaroundhisageover for cake and ice-cream. What a turn out - I counted 31 peopleofwhichhalf must have beenkids. The noise deciblewasthroughtheroof but I thinkeveryonehad a greattime. The cake goteaten, thecookiesweredemolished, thecandyalmostfinished off and we sent everyone home with a treat box. All in allitwas a successfulbirthdayparty.
I spentmanyhourslastweekthinkingofmypregnancy and O'sbirth. Thebirthof a child, a mother and a father. Whenheturnedone I wasstilltoobusyjustsurviving - but something about twowas super sweet. I stillthink I couldn't have chosen a better place to have a child. Thewide open blue skies oftheSouthwest, thecommunity support of Fort, themellowpaceoflife - theyall came togethertocreatesuch an amazingexperience. A trike came in the mail fromPopPop's - he loves it!
